Following a long, five-year period of preparation and design, the 4* hotel with 20 rooms to be built as part of the BI Yachtclub has received its building permit, so the construction is expected to begin in the summer, and the hotel will open for guests in the 2023 winter season. The goal of the investment is to create an international-level exclusive accommodation based on already existing features and targeting a degree of expectations so far not experienced around the Lake Balaton. Therefore the prudent high-quality construction requires prominent attention from all the participants involved. Due to this expansion, the BI Yachtclub & apartments will strengthen its leading position around the lake and, in the long run, it sets an example in architecture for developers in the region.
After the two-year forced break caused by the pandemic, last year we continue the collaboration with the organization IAESTE. Within that framework, four international students have chosen our office for their professional internship in 2022: one Macedonian, one Jordanian, one Tunisian, and one Polish. We are grateful for the opportunity and carry on with the programme, which started twelve years ago and we are also looking forward to further participants in the following years. As part of this exchange programme, Hungarian students also get the chance to go to other countries for similar summer internships in order to gain international knowledge and experience there.
The 25 apartments of this residential complex are being built in the historical villa district of the town, right on the lakeshore, among hundred-year-old plane trees. These properties erected around the lake with an extraordinary quality, precise design and construction, excellent technical content, and choice materials both in the exterior and the interior, aim at a premium category, filling a gap in the market of real estate investments. The goal of the project is to realize a unique vision creating a second home at Lake Balaton for future owners. Construction is expected to be fully completed by the autumn season of 2023.
